Nothing to write, really, except that I'm happily sitting at my nifty desk, having no idea why the Internet didn't work for an hour or two. I used the time to make some more Musicmatch playlists, and now, as I read diaries and peck away at this one, I'm listening on headphones. I almost never do that; I listen to music in the car, mostly. But I'm going away for a few days next week -- an eight hour bus ride each way -- so music and headphones seem like a good plan. More on my trip in a day or two, perhaps. Anyway, R and K are watching TV behind me, I don't know what. When they're home, they own the remote. I told someone today that having them both home feels like the house is being occupied by an enemy army. Not a hostile enemy, not at all. They just take over. |
