It's the Day 1302

11.23.2006

10:03 am

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Things are quiet here, where everything is more or less under control. I baked the pies last night, and have already got the turnips and yams roasted. I would have much more done by now, but there just isn't enough room in the refrigerator to prepare that much ahead of time. Once I get the turkeys out, I'll have more room to play with, and I'll get going on the rest of it.

In the meantime, my car is out of service yet again; the driver's side window is stuck down. And of course, it's raining today, so it's tucked away in the garage and we'll drive over to the Sibs' probably in R's car. But this means another day without my car next week. I'm not renting again; that was a total pain. We'll work it out somehow.

Okay, that's it. We've already had it with the parade, and R has Wayne's World on. K is sleeping on the couch. And thus we begin.
