I am so overwhelmed by how incredibly wonderful this day -- these last few days -- have been for me. Not only have all the people around me bowed and scraped suitably in honor of my birthday, so many other diary-keepers have sent good wishes that I can't even come up with words to express how unbelievable this feels. The closest thing I can think of is in "It's a Wonderful Life", where the angels hear prayers from everyone who knows George Bailey, they're all thinking of him and holding him in their hearts. Kind of like that. I feel remarkably NOT insignificant. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all your kind thoughts and words. |
