I am intrigued 95

No, wait ... I am fascinated.

Hubs sits in the kitchen, his new laptop on the table in front of him. He's trying to figure out how to hook it up to the Internet.

Now, this is a bright guy, a real bright guy. He can probably do it, too. But he's not the computer geek in the family, I am.

But he's plugging away at it, which is good, I suppose (secretly hoping that he doesn't throw it across the room in frustration a la the Great Cable Box Disaster of 1982.)

He is not your typical helpless husband, he's the less-often-sighted martyr husband, the one who would rather cut off his arms than ask for help. Here's another curious thing: even if he's interested in something, like computers, as soon as someone close to him shows an interest or aptitude, he drops it, rather than compete (if that's what it is) on any level at all.

So, basically, he's screwed. If he can't do it, he won't ask for help, even though I'm right here.

As I say, fascinating.
