Oh Pooh 591

And I'm not talking about the bear.

Interesting day yesterday, very good at work, but then ... well, pooh. It's possible that R has broken her collarbone. We have no idea how this happened, but since Saturday, she's had excrutiating pain in that area, spreading to her shoulder, and since she has a chronic shoulder problem, she thought it was maybe that, but now she's thinking maybe a stress fracture. She's seeing an orthopedist tomorrow morning, but she was in so much pain yesterday that we went to the emergency room in the afteroon. Can you say WASTE OF TIME? The doctor -- I think it was actually Doogie Howser -- didn't even take an x-ray. He gave her an anti-inflammatory shot, some muscle relaxer, and percocet, which she won't take. She'll hold on until tomorrow. If anything's broken, I guess we could always sue Doogie for not even doing the obvious thing. I'd don't know, we'll see. Anyway, that's why I didn't write yesterday.

I'm all headachy now and just a weeeee bit tired. Tomorrow: The Diagnosis.
