The new library is officially opening a week from Monday, but the new addition officiallyopened today, and so, in a way, did we. We're not ready for people to come in and sit and work -- we don't have the public computers yet, and there is still some work to be done and we don't want light fixtures falling on people's heads -- but we're open for visitors. Kids were coming in in groups and in singles and pairs, passing by on their way to class or just passing by, and they were oohing and ahing. Yes, it's beautiful. Yes, it looks like a college library. Hey, I'm just happy to have work to do again. And to be seeing kids again. I missed that.

In other news, my car is still not ready; I am losing my mind here. That means that tomorrow, K will have to drop me off and pick me up again. Today I borrowed the Sibs' car, which I'll have to return when K gets back from class around 8:00. I'd hoped I'd be picking my car up on the way back, but the part never came in.

I don't even know what else I was going to write. I'm going to look up used Subaru Foresters now.
