Not Much to Report 1156

Today was actually a kind of nothing day. Got my nails done. That's it.

Around noon, K and I went out to do a few things and she was cranky, which is what happens to her when she needs to eat. But she didn't want to eat, not then. We did this, we did that, picked up some ingredients for some meals she wants to make, then she smashed her head getting into the car and boy, then she was really cranky. Not without cause; however, we picked up some Taco Bell for lunch and then she started to feel better. Falling asleep myself for a little bit didn't hurt, either.

She did make dinner, some kind of pasta in olive and caper sauce, which was quite good. I do love it when they cook and clean up too.

So I'm waiting for the guy to come and pick up the two doors we're getting rid of, which should be any minute. Is the electrician coming tomorrow? It's a mystery. He's coming tomorrow or Thursday, but he hasn't gotten around to calling me and letting me know which. He's really a very nice man and a good electrician, but this business of not getting straight when he's actually going to show up is crazy. But with any luck, tomorrow (or Thursday) will be the end of the work I need him to do, so I guess it won't matter. And I can't wait to see what the estimate will be from the painters tomorrow.

In the meantime, my sister is retired. Wow. What a weird thing that is.
